Rotating art on display

Nico Tone, Shell Flower

Inspired by René Magritte’s “The Castle of the Pyrenees”, Shell Flower depicts a magical floating world made of natural elements collected from vintage matchbox designs. The artwork represents a surrealist world made up of fantastical natural and man-made objects. The work is displayed as a floating bouquet of flowers that comes to life. As with Magritte’s work, with the clear pink and blue sky arise feelings of hope.
