Artists tell the story of the world they live in, and they do so through the medium that best resonates with their audience. We live in a digital age, defined by technology and the growth of the online world, and that is altering the way we experience art. New media art is a burgeoning genre that encompasses artworks created with new media technologies, including virtual reality art, moving image art, code based art, AI art and many more.
The world is moving online faster than we ever expected, and for art that revolution has been even more emphatic. We’re experiencing a cultural shift in the art experience, and the trend to consuming art online will only grow from here.
New Media Art is experiencing a breakthrough and the COVID19 pandemic accelerated its growth and acceptance as an essential and accessible art form.
Learn about the new trends in the luxury property market and how art and technology serve as “memory points” that differentiate and define a home.
The next generation of collectors and art enthusiasts consume and experience everything online, that is why we call it the digital age, and that is what the art world is starting to adapt to. This has already extended to other areas of culture with the emergence of streaming giants in the music and film worlds. Art is experiencing the same shift.
Learn about the new trends in design and about how Architects and Designers are harnessing the power of new media art in their projects.
Video and code has become the paint and the screen has become the canvas and a new destination for art. Learn how to turn any screen into a digital art canvas with cutting-edge technologies and custom integrators.

Meet the Panelists
Quayola
New Media Artist
Quayola employs technology as a lens to explore the tensions and equilibriums between seemingly opposing forces: the real and artificial, figurative and abstract, old and new. Constructing immersive installations, often at historically significant architectural sites, he engages with and re-imagines canonical imagery through contemporary technology. Hellenistic sculpture, Old Master painting, and Baroque architecture are some of the historical aesthetics that serve as a point of departure for Quayola’s abstract compositions. His varied practice, all deriving from custom computer software, also includes audiovisual performance, video, sculpture, and works on paper.
